Importing a User Profile Civil 3D
User Profile
What is it?
A simple configuration file that sets up your Template File Paths and Plotstyles, as well as where all your tools are located and how your Civil 3D looks.

How do I use one?
- In your Civil 3D open the options window (type ‘OPTIONS’ in your command line)
- Click Profiles tab at the top
- Select Import on the right side
- Select a profile from the folders at the end of this path according to your Civil3D year: Z:\Shared\Resources_Project\Standards_AutoCAD\Support_C3D_UserProfiles
- Ensure to include path information and click Apply & Close
- Clicking Set Current will set the highlighted profile to be loaded
